Scouting for Food annual food drives

Scouting for Food
On October 20th, the Boy Scouts dropped off Scouting for Food bags for you to fill with non-perishable food items. The Boy Scouts came back on October 27 to pick up the bags and take them to local Kroger stores, where Food Bank volunteers helped to collect nearly 10,000 lbs. of food.

Local businesses are participating in the Work Site campaign by collecting food or monetary donations for the Food Bank. The efforts of all the participating companies were tremedous, generating over 30,000 lbs. of food and more than $17,000.

Health Care REIT was the leader in the Work Site food drive, giving over 3,600 lbs. of food and more than $10,000 in monetary donations. Thank you, Health Care REIT, for working so diligently with us to end hunger in Northwest Ohio!
