Established in 1984, the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank has distributed over 100 million pounds of food and non-food items through its network of member agencies. Our network consists of members throughout NW Ohio which include Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Williams, and Wood counties.
Our member agency network currently serves 250 non-profit and charitable faith-based organizations that help feed those in need through emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, rehabilitation centers, special programs for the elderly, group homes, holiday food basket programs, non-profit day care centers, youth services programs, children’s after school programs, senior programs and rehabilitation programs.

The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank is looking to build new partnerships with organizations that can help us expand and reach those in need throughout Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Williams, and Wood counties.
We offer our member agencies critical resources, including support in the form of grants, equipment, and much-needed food items and distributes USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), OFP (Ohio Food Program) products, fresh produce, dairy and bread products at no charge. The Food Bank also purchases food and receives donated product which member agencies can order at a reduced cost.
