Host A Food Drive
Coordinating a traditional or virtual food drive is an easy and great opportunity for your business, school, or program to help your local community. Below are two types of food drives we offer for you to participate in.

Traditional Food Drive
Food Drives allow members of a group to collect non-perishable food items to donate. It can be a one day event or take place for a predetermined amount of time, typically a week or month.
Holding a food drive in conjunction with an incentive program is a great way to get others to participate. So get creative and have a contest or offer a discount at a local store in exchange for food donations.

Virtual Food Drive
Virtual Food Drives help raise money for the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank to put towards general food distribution operations. They can be held alone or in conjunction with a traditional food drive. The drive is held online so there is no need to leave your home or business to collect food.
Another reason to host a Virtual Food Drive is the food bank has bulk purchasing power, with monetary donations we are able to process your donation into more meals. For every $1 received, the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank can provide 5 meals to those in need.
