SNAP Outreach Program
The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank is committed to ending food insecurity in the 8 counties we serve. We take a multifaceted approach to fighting hunger by not only providing nutritious food to our network of 200 plus member agencies, but also assisting the community through our many outreach programs.
Our SNAP Outreach Team will provide SNAP pre-screening and application assistance for individuals and families. SNAP (formerly called Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. SNAP benefits come in the form of a debit card that can be used to buy food at most grocery stores, and even some farmers’ markets.
