What is Snap?

SNAP (formerly called Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. SNAP benefits come in the form of a debit card that can be used to buy food at most grocery stores, and even some farmers’ markets.

How We Can Help?

Our SNAP Outreach Team Will:

Screen you for SNAP eligibility
Assist with your application
Submit your application to ODJFS
Follow up throughout the process

Application Requirements

Picture ID
Social Security Card/Printout
Birth Certificate
Income Verification
Household Verification (lease, utility bill)

Income Guidelines

If an individual makes less than $1,473 per month (gross) they may be eligible for assistance. The income limit for a family of four is $3,007.
